We open at 9 am every day, serving locally roasted coffee and teas alongside a selection of artisan cakes and pastries. Our brunch and lunch menu starts at 11am Monday to Sunday.

Lunch is served daily from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm, Tuesday to Saturday, and from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm on Sunday and Monday. Alongside lunch, we are open for coffee and cakes until late afternoon

Dinner is served from Tuesday to Saturday starting at 5pm. The menu is subject to daily changes, depending on farm availability, to ensure a more sustainable and zero-waste approach

Alexander Mackay – Head Chef at Botanique
With a rich and diverse culinary background, Alexander Mackay brings an exceptional combination of skill, creativity, and passion to Botanique. As Head Chef, he leads our kitchen with a commitment to artistry, precision, and a deep respect for seasonal and sustainable ingredients.
Alexander’s career has taken him across the globe, refining his craft in celebrated establishments in Geneva, Vancouver, and Amsterdam. Most recently, he specialised in crafting elevated small plates paired with natural wines, working closely with local farmers and winemakers to create an intimate and authentic dining experience.
His culinary repertoire is shaped by his love of travel and a profound appreciation for global cuisines, drawing inspiration from Indian, Middle Eastern, Mexican, and Italian traditions. From scratch cooking to fermentation, Alexander is dedicated to producing thoughtful, innovative dishes that highlight the purity and vibrancy of fresh, local ingredients.
As a leader, Alexander fosters a collaborative and creative kitchen environment, encouraging teamwork and a shared passion for excellence. His philosophy aligns seamlessly with Botanique’s ethos of sustainability, seasonality, and delivering exceptional dining experiences.

about botanique
Botanique was founded in 2020 by Andrea and Fabio, built on a foundation of sustainability and a love for local, organic produce. Every morning begins with the arrival of fresh vegetables from our trusted partner farmers. Originally a vegetarian and vegan restaurant, in 2025, we evolved to embrace a more sustainable, biodiverse, zero-waste, hyper-local, and low-intervention approach. This shift allowed us to expand our offerings while staying true to our values.
Our produce rack remains brimming with vibrant, seasonal ingredients, which our head chef transforms into innovative dishes, working closely with independent local farmers to craft a menu rooted in nature. Every dish tells the story of farm-to-table integrity, celebrating the full potential of each ingredient, from root to tip.
Our mission is clear: to create beautiful, flavour-packed dishes that showcase the abundance achievable with high-quality, natural ingredients. Our wine list complements this ethos, focusing on minimal-intervention, organic wines sourced exclusively from small European producers who share our respect for the environment.
